Description
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County began in 1990 in Aberdeen, Maryland, where a group of concerned community leaders, teachers, the mayor and city commissioner banded together with a common goal – to provide a safe and educational alternative for after school programming. That same year, the first group of 40 kids met in the basement of Grove Presbyterian Church. Over the past 25 years, services have expanded to four Clubs in Harford County: Aberdeen, Bel Air, Edgewood and Havre de Grace.
