Description

Performing arts are an integral element of a Banner Education. Through participation in the performing arts, students also develop self-confidence, poise, and comfort in front of an audience. In addition, there is an annual spring musical theater production in the Middle School, excerpts from which have also been performed at off-campus venues, including at an event benefiting the Arc of Frederick and at the Weinberg Center for the Arts, with recent performances including Mulan, Grease, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Wonderland! In recent years, the production has been paired with a dinner theatre and dessert theatre.
